We were commissioned by Muji Europe to develop a complete visual communication system for the 2024 Everyday Essentials campaign, integrating creative direction, photography, and film into a single, coherent framework.Rather than approaching the project as a collection of isolated images, we designed a unified visual language capable of operating consistently across formats, platforms, and scales. The system was built around 25 products and a large interior environment, styled entirely with Muji household items and furniture, and captured through both stills and moving image.Our creative approach followed Muji’s philosophy of honesty and restraint: each product was presented as it is—unchanged, adaptable, and free from trends—allowing its everyday flexibility to define the narrative.The interior set, conceived as a New York–style loft with a bedroom, living room, atelier, and dining area, functioned as a living structure within the system, enabling products, spaces, and stories to unfold naturally across the campaign.
